Stratford Mother Wins Home Based Business
Last night Deborah Andrioli, from Stratford-upon-Avon, had her life completely changed in the prestigious Remote Worker Awards Ceremony at The Grand Connaught Rooms in London.
Deborah was thrilled when she was crowned with The Arise Be Your Own Boss Award and the winner of her very own home based community magazine from The Snippet worth £10k.
Deborah, a former PR and Marketing Manager for The Press Association, gave up her job three years ago, to care for her two young children, one of whom has Asperger’s Syndrome and has founded an after-school club for children with autism in her local area.
As a woman of great determination, who will use her media skills to promote and grow her own business, she is now keen to establish her own venture and can’t wait to get ‘stuck into her community magazine’.
The judges found Deborah to be an intelligent, focused and tenacious applicant with a track record of success. Her membership of a number of local business and social network groups along with her communication skills, customer relations and media expertise made her entry stand out from the crowd.
With her commercial acumen, creativity and personal ambition, they believed Deborah to be a worthy recipient of her own home based franchise. Judges commented that her story, motivation to work around her family and her past experience presented ‘the full package’.
Deborah said: “It is a huge honour to win The Arise Be Your Own Boss Award. I am excited about the amazing opportunity to run my own business from home and combine this with being a mum. Remote working is giving people that flexibility.”
Award winning website, Remote Employment, Google’s No 1 job site for flexible and home based jobs, launched The Remote Worker Awards in association with BT Business to highlight how home working and remote working benefits the British public and their working life.
