After taking up his own Betterclean Services businesses in Bristol and Bath just five weeks ago, Chris Cook has already landed two contracts – one of which will achieve his aggressive 18-month business plan target on its own!   

Chris had been a friend of Betterclean Services for over two years, getting to know the business model inside-out by helping us with our marketing. And he liked what he saw so much that he decided to take up his own franchise.

Chris explains what attracted him to the opportunity: “With my own marketing company, I’ve actually been working very closely with various franchisors for several years – so, hopefully, I know a good opportunity when I see one! Working with Dan and the team, I was struck by just how much potential their management business model has: really, it has no limits. I was initially looking to build to just £4M, but I am aware of a local competitor who is currently hitting £100M and losing business!”

And even with Chris’ experience of running his own businesses, even he has been surprised at the quick progress he has made:

“Everyone was just following our marketing activity plan and we hit gold. I knew I had made a good choice with Betterclean, you just get that feeling when life is on track. I wasn’t expecting quite the progress we have experienced, but I’m certainly not complaining! I couldn’t have done it without my team, everyone is fully committed to making the business work. Yes its intense, but it really is great fun. I can only wonder what the coming months will bring!”

Chris’ early success is another great example as to the scope of business the Betterclean business model helps business owners to win – from small local independents to large nationwide organisations. Indeed, recently the Torquay business made waves with a £330k, three-year contract win with South West Water.
