Mark has always been in the IT business with over 20 years’ experience of computing, coding/developing, specifying, testing, managing teams, configuration of software and customisation; all skills that are transferable into a franchise such as Rosemary.

Having worked for a progressive company he and his wife were able to work part time when they started a family. When his wife went back to work fulltime,  Mark stayed at home with their three children.  As the children have now reached the age where he is surplus to their requirements, Mark started to explore the franchise industry and found Rosemary.

Mark is excited about becoming a business owner. “Essentially it is my business, I make the decisions but I have the support of the Rosemary team in the background with all their wealth of experience. I’ve tasted success in previous projects but rewards seem to have gone to others, this time I’m looking forward to reaping those rewards myself.”

“I’d always thought a franchise would be the right choice for me and having been to a few of the franchise fairs I ended up on their mailing lists. Nothing had really clicked into place, pizza parlors, pet grooming, house/oven cleaning, courier services etc. never really appealed. “One of the key areas I’m hoping to impress on people is prompt service. While going through the set up of my business I have found that the service provided by various  tradesman and service providers has been dreadful, no replies to calls, e-mails, turn up and then don’t provide the quote etc. I know I will do better than that .“
