New Horizons crowned Microsoft’s winner for second year running

Published on: November 15, 2013

New Horizons Ireland has just been awarded Microsoft’s Irish Partner of the Year for Learning Award for the second year in a row.

New Horizons is the world’s largest independent IT training company. With a network of over 300 centres in 60 countries, they are Microsoft’s largest training provider, delivering more than 40% of all authorised Microsoft training worldwide.

The award was received at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference in Houston by franchisee Liam McMahon. The award recognises the team at New Horizons Ireland’s commitment to outstanding customer service and the ability to deliver superior consultative learning services, providing the skills and knowledge that businesses and individuals need to get the most out of their investments in Microsoft technology.

“We’re incredibly proud to have received this award for the second year in a row. The reward for our hard work comes from the individuals and companies that we train, seeing them grow and develop their skills and ultimately become more successful as a result. But to be recognised in this way by Microsoft is extremely gratifying. We’re looking forward to seeing the franchise network grow, particularly in the UK and, of course, striving for another award win!” explains Liam.

“The team at New Horizons Ireland have developed a strong relationship with Microsoft and have helped drive technology adoption by delivering programs for all Microsoft partners including Office 365, Exchange and Server 2012. The Irish franchise branch is currently leading the market and this award further proves that the business model works and the brand continues to go from strength-to-strength across the globe,” adds Scott McDaniel, International Development Director.

Over the last 30 years, New Horizons’ wide range of computer training and complementary programmes have made over 30 million people more valuable. Operating within a sector that is constantly changing and adapting as technology develops at a phenomenal rate, New Horizons franchisees look set to remain successful for years to come.

Along with an award-winning training programme and comprehensive support package, new franchisees are offered an exclusive territory in a major city along with training programmes for all employees. In addition, the package includes ongoing training events and annual conferences, a wide variety of live online events, self-paced e-learning resources and a wealth of tools that franchisees can use to train their employees.
