Congratulations to Lisa Curteis – Rosemary Bookkeeping Recruitment Director – who was appointed to the bfa board representing Associate members.
Lisa says “this is an exciting time and a great achievement for myself and Rosemary Bookkeeping. Prior to launching Rosemary in 2009, I spent a year researching franchising and in particular the bfa because I wanted to ensure our business met all its ethical requirements and be a business that I could be proud of. Ever since my first bfa Forum, I have been overwhelmed by the welcome and knowledge that has been openly shared with me from fellow bfa franchisors and the advice has been invaluable in helping Rosemary be the success it is today. I am not afraid to challenge the status quo and with the knowledge I have gained in experiencing not only the glories but the pains of growing a franchise with an operational network of 21 franchisees today, my business experience, understanding of the bfa and its ethical approach, and crucially the bfa members’ needs, I believe I am able to represent other Associate bfa members as part of the board of the bfa”.
Rosemary Bookkeeping launched at the end of 2009 as a franchise operating after running a company pilot for 7 years. We pride ourselves on delivering an intelligent bookkeeping service to help business owners manage and grow their business. Working with SME’s we ensure a consistency of delivery and high quality work across our entire network. As a result of our practical, down to earth and friendly approach, we help clients overcome the complexities of HMRC, accounting software and VAT. The more our franchise grows, the more we work with franchisors who want to take the complexities of bookkeeping away from their franchisees (so they can concentrate on growing their business rather than paperwork or software) and national firms of accountants who are delighted that they can outsource bookkeeping work to us.
