A Hat-trick of Success for Coventry Businessmen Alex and Bill!
Warwickshire businessmen Alex and Bill Newman are bucking the economic recession in a big way, having just celebrated a hat-trick of success with record-breaking sales figures and a clutch of business awards.
Alex and his brother Bill, who together run Recognition Express Coventry, a specialist supplier of corporate recognition products, clothing and business gifts, not only celebrated record monthly sales figures with a phenomenal 400 percent increase on the same time last year, but picked up two prestigious awards for outstanding business performance!
One huge order from an existing client – a marketing incentive which included 4,000 USB memory sticks - gave their August sales figures a massive boost, while hot on the heels of this upsurge came news of two awards – the coveted Recognition Express Franchise of the Year and a Milestone Award for increased annual turnover.
“We’re really thrilled that despite all the talk of economic doom and gloom, we are enjoying a very busy and successful time,” said Alex. “The key to our success is building good relationships with our customers, calling them regularly, going to see them and working hard at keeping the business.”
Alex and Bill, whose territory now covers Coventry, Warwickshire and Stratford upon Avon, were presented with their awards at the recent Recognition Express bi-annual conference, which celebrated 30 years in business and recognised the UK’s best performing franchises.
