Strip Ltd waxing salon and lingerie boutique are busy planning the opening of what will be their flagship store in Chelsea later this month.
Co owners Danielle and Maria Louise Featherstone are overseeing the refurbishment and instructing contractors on each fine detail to ensure this salon will live up to their clients exacting standards.

Having been given exclusive access for a sneak preview before the anticipated opening in October, I can confirm that , synonymous for it’s luxurious Notting Hill salon, the new flagship Chelsea salon will not disappoint.
Strip’s philosophy is to ensure their clients feel that waxing it a treat not a chore. The ultimate aim is to ensure clients experience a fun, exciting and virtually pain free treatment, in an environment that encapsulates the ultimate luxury lifestyle.
Inside the grand Chelsea building, set over 3 floors, you will find each of the six treatment rooms themed by one of the wax flavours. Such as the sumptuous Chocolate room where an orchestra of coco coloured velvet flock wallpaper and opulent fabrics and furnishings are combined to complement the addictive Chocolate and Hazelnut wax that is used. And it doesn’t stop there you can choice what you want to watch on the plasma TV along with indulging in a naughty edible chocolate treat or two … you are half way their to your waxing nivana!
Strip sees franchising as the route forward to expand this unique wax only service across the UK. All new franchisees will undergo an extensive training programme supported by a comprehensive operations manual. In order to recreate Strip’s unique customer experience, Franchisees therapists will also undergo a 3 step training programme.
The Franchise has been set up by expert franchise consultant Mike Gratwick from Franchise Your Business. “This is an extremely unique and exciting opportunity that I believe will perform well with the right franchisees,” comments Mike.
The Initial Strip Franchise Fee is just £15k and the franchisee will require approximately £60k to fit out a new 900 square foot boutique. This includes your initial training, launch campaign, legal costs, opening stock, till system/licence, shop fitting and office set up. Costs will be significantly lower for individuals who have an existing salon that requires re-branding.
