A special needs occupational therapist from Guildford has won a whole home-office after entering a competition organised by Cartridge World.
Rena Plumridge entered the competition run by Cartridge World in its UK stores and online in September. Her name was drawn out and she has since picked up brand new state-of-the-art computer equipment - and more - from Doug Reeve of Cartridge World Woking! The prize includes a Samsung laptop and laser printer, a Samsung pay-as-you-go mobile phone, a USB memory stick and a year’s supply of Cartridge World copier paper and refilled cartridges.
Rena works as an occupational therapy assistant at Gosden House School near Bramley in Surrey. The school provides specialist education for children with complex special needs. She also runs a football club for the school’s pupils each weekend.
Rena said: “Christmas came early for me! I’m thrilled at winning so many prizes. I’ll be popping in to visit Doug every time the printer cartridge needs refilling. It’s also given me the chance to find out more about the environmental benefits of recycling cartridges. I will be encouraging the school to collect all empty printer cartridges and prevent them from being sent straight to landfill.”
Doug Reeve of Cartridge World Woking added: “We couldn’t have picked a more deserving winner. Rena gives so much time and energy to help the children at Gosden House School. We’re delighted that we’re able to give her a treat.”
Cartridge World is the market leading retailer of refilled and remanufactured printer cartridges. Using specifically formulated inks or toner, the Cartridge World stores can refill almost any inkjet or toner cartridge. The end result is a high quality product offering the customer substantial savings on the cost of an original and an environmentally-friendly alternative to throwing the cartridge into landfill.
