Celebrating over 20 years of sustained success, the UK’s largest sign franchise Signs Express, has recognised key long serving franchisees for reaching the milestone of £5m invoiced business with an award and £1000 of Red Letter Day vouchers.

The awards have been presented to Signs Express first franchisees Ken Bevis and Nick Dawes from Grimsby and Ipswich respectively; Alan Parkinson who operates in the Central Lancashire area, Geoff & Lee Eaton in Manchester South and the latest franchisees to receive recognition, Neil & Carol Fraser from Glasgow.

Neil & Carol Fraser’s award comes just after they sold the franchise which they owned for 15 years. As one of the most successful centres, with a raft of awards and extended territories to cover the whole of Glasgow, the resale of the business is the highest value in Signs Express’ long history. This is testament to the strength and size of the Glasgow business and its extensive machinery and loyal customer base.

New owner Graham Casey is looking to build on the high quality and excellent customer service provided by Neil & Carol’s when they owned the business. Graham is the latest franchisee to join the 80-strong Signs Express network. Having worked for Macfarlane Group PLC for many years, Graham had reached a point in his career where he wanted to try something different and to utilise his skills and knowledge to run his own business. Graham explains why he is relishing the fresh challenge: “I’m delighted to be at the helm of Signs Express (Glasgow). With a diverse customer base in the private and public sectors and a highly experienced and dedicated team of staff, I look forward to providing a full design, manufacture and fitting service for all existing and new customers.”

Speaking of the change in ownership, sales and marketing director Tony Marsh said: “We are thrilled that Graham has come on board with us but also very sad to see Neil & Carol, our outgoing franchisees, move to pastures new. We appreciate the impact they have had on the network and wish them well for their new direction. With Graham’s vast experience and desire to grow the business we have no doubt that the success of the franchise will continue under his ownership and we wish him much success for the future.”
