Caremark Celebrate first Annual Conference
Homecare provider Caremark recently held their first Annual Conference to celebrate the successes of 2007 and begin the focus on 2008 – The Year of Achievement. The Conference, held at Gatwick’s Sofitel Hotel was a tremendous success with Franchisees from around the country coming together to share ideas and listen and contribute to presentations from external speakers and those in the network.Caremark’s support team made presentations to explain support procedures, training processes and the current changes and trends within the social care sector, underlining Caremark’s commitment to working closely with the franchise network. With a very professional agenda and many important subjects covered throughout the day, Caremark’s franchisees were able to participate, sharing their experiences and successes, cementing an emerging corporate spirit. After the day’s conference Franchisees enjoyed a Gala dinner and awards ceremony.
Carl Ward, Managing Director of Caremark (Kingston) was presented with the award for franchisee of the year. “We were surprised and honoured to receive The Caremark Franchisee of the Year Award and believe it is testimony to both the Franchise standards and the excellent team we have created in our Kingston office. The combination of steady growth, sound business practices and carefully selecting and nurturing staff has paid dividends for both 2007 and the foreseeable future” explains Carl.
Alongside Franchisee of the year there were awards for Mark of Excellence, presented to Ian Coombes of Caremark (Cheddar) and Individual Achievement, presented to Alan Jones of Caremark (Leeds). Both were thrilled to receive their awards and stated it gave them a real sense that they were achieving what they have set out to do. Managing Director, Kevin Lewis said “The entire day generated terrific enthusiasm and confidence for all of our Franchisees. It far exceeded all my expectations – what an amazing day! Our Franchisees as a whole are trading at 50% ahead of our projected target and it gave us a real sense of achievement celebrating the awards and the network’s overall success. We set out to ensure that everyone came away from the day having gained more knowledge and we are wholly sure that this was achieved. I looked forward to this time next year when we will have the opportunity to celebrate with an even larger network”
