Chris Rocker founded Just Shutters in Bournemouth developing the business into a proven franchise system. It was a bold move choosing to leave a Directorship with an AIM listed PLC to start a new business. Chris has certainly proved he has the ability to build a business with solid foundations.

Chris developed his marketing and operational skills through a variety of roles. Pre 1990 he was involved in designing, renovating and building property. His key skill was putting together operational plans and designs.
He next moved into fitted furniture sales before joining John Lewis of Hungerford and was soon offered a Directorship where he was in charge of 10 showrooms nationally. This role taught him the most about marketing and operational systems. He continues to invest in learning and applying new ideas to refine and evolve the Just Shutters’ systems.
Chris, his wife Helen and two young boys Timothy and James live on the South Coast in Bournemouth. He loves spending time with the family whether that is at home, on the beach, skiing or going for walks.
Chris’s main aim is to raise the UK’s general awareness of Plantation shutters. He wants Plantation shutters to be regarded as one of the main window covering options, alongside curtains and blinds.
