We are proud to announce that TaxAssist Accountants, the UK’s largest accountancy network to specialise in accountancy services for small businesses, has now reached the milestone of 130 shop fronts.
TaxAssist Accountants now has 188 franchisees across the UK, who cover over 200 outlets and 10 franchisees in the Republic of Ireland.
All franchisees are required to move to a shop front within three years of joining the network, with the retail style outlets aimed at attracting the local small and medium sized business owner with a fresh, modern and stylish look.
The 130th shop is headed by Alex Smith his fiancé Sarah and his team of staff. Alex joined TaxAssist Accountants in September 2006 relocating to Plymouth specifically in order to set up the franchise. Alex is a Chartered Accountant, with a wealth of experience from over ten years in practice and working in industry. He comments “the shop provides a professional yet welcoming environment for our clients in Plymouth, and is the natural next step for us in growing the business. It’s a tried and tested format, and already within days of opening, new clients are finding and appointing us.”

Franchisees do not need any formal accountancy qualifications as full training is given, but you do need to have a relevant career background, be self motivated, disciplined, ambitious, hardworking and keen to build a substantial successful business.
