Why work for money when money can work for you?

The Interface Financial Group (IFG) franchisees provide short-term working capital and cash flow assistance to small businesses by purchasing selected invoices at a discount (referred to as Invoice Discounting).

IFG franchisees generate an income by purchasing well-qualified invoices at a discount and receiving full payment from the debtor (our client’s customer). Income is derived from the discounts. Funding is based on a ‘single invoice discounting’ approach.

IFG franchisees work primarily with small expanding businesses that find it difficult to attract funding from conventional sources.

IFG franchisees buy assets — they do not lend money! The asset they buy is an account receivable (invoice). The franchisee buys an invoice at a discount of its face value and holds it until payment, usually 45 days. At the end of the credit period the IFG franchisee receives payment of 100% of the face value of the invoice. The discount is the franchisee’s income.

The Ultimate Professional Franchise

IFG has been in the invoice discounting business since 1972 and is the leading alternative funding source for small business. IFG operates in the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and Singapore.

Proven System • Outstanding Support • Flexibility • Low Overhead & Startup Costs

  • Risk management system — perfected from IFG’s inception in 1972, our risk management system and protocols are one of the key success factors of IFG and our franchisees.
  • Unique market niche — you are not limited to a single market segment, your clients are business-tobusiness companies in almost any industry.
  • Outstanding support of franchisees — thorough training, personalised coaching, transaction review and analysis for the life of your franchise, all documentation and forms customized to your location – as franchisees say “The support is great, IFG management is always there when you need them”.
  • Control your work schedule — work full time or part time, you’re the boss so it’s your choice.
  • Transition Vehicle — keep your current position and paycheque whilst building your IFG business.
  • Integrate with other business/financial services — if you are currently offering other business/financial services, an IFG franchise can easily integrate into your existing format as long as they are not in conflict or competition with IFG services.
  • IFG is ‘portable’ — it is easy to relocate, even across the country, and take your IFG franchise with you; and if you prefer to spend part of the year elsewhere, an IFG franchise can easily accommodate that as well.
  • Low overhead — NO employees to manage, NO inventory to stock, NO custom equipment to buy, and NO office to rent, because you can operate your IFG business from your home office.
  • Low startup costs — you’ll need a telephone, fax capability, computer with high-speed internet/broadband access, and some petrol in your car to visit your clients – and you probably already have all that.
  • Working capital — most of your investment capital is used to purchase invoices, and unlike most franchisors IFG does not have any preset working capital requirements you can start smaller and work up.

IFG Does Business Locally

The IFG franchise is a local business doing business locally. IFG franchisees serve their local area, responding to the needs of their clients on a timely, professional, and personal basis and help to stimulate the local economy.

All transaction evaluation, decision-making, and funding are done locally. IFG franchisees don’t have to send applications to a regional office for approval – although IFG management is always available to assist franchisees with transaction evaluation and will do so for the life of their franchise.

IFG franchisees come from a variety of backgrounds & experience

But they all have the following in common:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Decision makers
  • Problem solvers
  • Relationship builders
  • Entrepreneurs
  • A strong business background
