Why Should I Consider being an 'INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR' with Bairstow Eves?
An 'Independent Contractor' is a new concept and we see this as the real growth area in Estate Agency
Bairstow Eves have piloted and proved this concept in that it works for you and for us. We believe from our pilot studies that the target income levels of £55,000+ in year 1 and £80,000+ in year 2 (after the costs detailed below have been deducted) are realistic and achievable, though as with any business, market conditions will affect the volumes of business.
We would hope that once you are established in a good market you should be able to exceed those targets.
We have set out below what we consider are the ADVANTAGES which make this offer so attractive and specifically OUTSHINE packages offered by others in this ‘field’.
A friendly and supportive working environmentYou will be working on a self employed basis in our Kingston Office, both 'listing properties' and 'selling properties' within a designated Post Code Area which will be exclusively your territory.
The office will be modern and back up service will be provided by well qualified and experienced back up staff. You will be working alongside other Independent Contractors and the ethos of the Company is to encourage mutual support and for us all to benefit from each other’s business contacts and introductions where appropriate.
We all have a vested interest in your success, and you benefit directly by your own efforts. You remain independent and self employed but we provide the systems, back up, advice and direction to give you the tools to build your own success.

You will be provided 'free of charge' with an initial period of full time training and will receive further training updates from time to time during the period of your agreement. In addition you have the back up of our organisation should you meet unexpected problems.
Perhaps the most valuable marketing tool you will have is the ability to operate under the Bairstow Eves name. This gives you immediate credibility and a corporate image identify while operating as a true independent contractors.
What do I have to pay:
Initial Fee: £5,000
On Going Costs:
- Desk Rental: £150 - per week
- Parking: £120 - per month
- Leaflets/Stationery: £100 to £150 - per month
- Other: £60 - per month
- Boards: £50 - per month
How Much Money Will I Need In Total:
Around £10,000 - of which up to 50% can be financed (subject to status)
These sums are relatively modest to enable you to take advantage of this exceptional opportunity. Should the upfront payment provide a barrier discuss this with us and we may be able to assist with finance. We want the right people up and running as soon as possible.
What could I earn?We will send you a business plan demonstrating what we believe you could earn over the initial 2 year period. These figures are not guaranteed but are based upon previous experience and would apply to an Independent Contractor with good business and personal skills in a medium market.
