Other income streams are generated from mail order, catalogue drops and visiting day centres, sheltered housing and the housebound.
The Pauline May range of clothing is made in the UK and carries the Pauline May label. All garments are washable and easy care, and carry a 100% money back guarantee against spoilage in the often harsh washing regimes of care homes. There are two ranges produced each year, backed up by a full colour catalogue to promote sales.
As a Pauline May franchisee you would have your own exclusive territory, work in an expanding market, get full training, both initial and ongoing, and a minimum 100% mark up on all goods. You would work from home and all you need is a computer, telephone and the family car, everything else comes with the franchise package including £5,000 of stock and a minimum of 20 pre booked appointments to kick start your business.
The franchise includes a full training package and a dedicated bespoke software system to assist you to run your business.
The initial training is a 5 day course at the Pauline May training rooms at head office and includes visits to care homes where actual sales are carried out by our sales training team. The course also covers all aspects of dealing with care homes from the initial contact, getting appointments and pre sales organising.
After the initial training there is a weekly follow up programme which monitors each franchisee`s performance and indicates areas where further training may be required. There are ongoing refresher courses in all aspects of running the business which are tailored to each franchisee`s abilities and requirements.
The cost of a pauline May franchise is £25,000 plus VAT. There are no royalties, licence fees, management fees or any further payments other than a £100 per year software maintenance/licence fee which gives you 24/7 back up from our resident with our I.T. consultant.

A Pauline May franchise is a full time serious business opportunity so you will need to be focused and have plenty of energy. You will be a driver, (you can use the family car) be comfortable talking to the elderly, have good telephone skills (although this is an area we will train you in) and possess a PC and be reasonably computer literate, but again, full training with our software is provided.
