We are offering a unique franchise opportunity
There are over three million SMEs in the UK and very few have the inhouse
capability to understand and comply with health and safety
legislation. Health and safety is a big concern to many business owners
and managers as they see fines rise and increasing numbers of company
directors imprisoned.
Furthermore, large organisations do not always have the capacity to carry
out all areas of work which means that we help them with the areas where
they do not have the necessary expertise.
We provide our franchisees with the opportunity to sell numerous products
that they would not otherwise have access to which allows them to appeal
to a broad customer base and have the edge over their competition. This
also generates a residual income for them with very little effort on their
part.
In summary our franchisees receive the ability to sell a much larger
service and package than they would if they were operating as a ‘one man
band’.
We are constantly developing the package available to franchisees but in
summary they receive the following:
Templates and precedents
All the templates and precedents needed to work as a health and safety
consultant. Although you may have a lot of this already, there may be
issues with copyright or there may be areas that you have not developed
materials for. We provide all the possible precedents. This covers
everything we have ever been asked for in twelve years of operating a
consultancy.
Business support
· All the information you need about how to run a consultancy including
business precedents (contracts etc)
· A telephone help line for instant advice if you have business issues (or
want to discuss a health and safety related issue with us)
· Regular meetings at Central Office to monitor your progress and
ensure your business moves forward
· For your first three months we will pay for you to be supported by a
business coach who can help you understand what you should be
doing and keep you focused
Account support
If you would like the assistance then we will help you negotiate larger or
unusual contracts. We provide you with sales training and will come with
you to sales meetings if you need further help.
We are constantly negotiating with national clients – this work is then
passed to the appropriate franchisees.
Marketing
· A proven strategy to take in your approach to marketing
· Introductions to companies with whom we have strategic alliances and
who pass clients to us. This has proven to be a very good source of
work
· Web presence and branded stationery (giving the clear message to
the client of your professionalism and ability to work with them) of a
corporate standard
· Marketing materials (at cost) you can send to your clients – e.g.
updates and Christmas cards so that you spend no time developing
them but can use them to build your business
· Support from central office at events
· We will provide PR at the time of your launch so that you get press in
the local papers announcing the arrival of your new business!
· We carry out regular press releases in all franchisees areas
· All PES employees and consultants promote our health and safety
service whenever possible which generates work
Discounted services
We are constantly reviewing and adding to the list of discounted services
that are useful to our Franchisees. One of the disadvantages of working
alone is the costs of purchasing products and items that you need to run
your business.
Sale of additional services
Franchisees are able to sell and arrange additional services such as:
· Accredited courses (IOSH, CIEH, RIPH). If you don’t want to teach
we will help you find a trainer
· Legal expenses insurance which gives you a significant edge over
much of your competition
· PPE and work wear. We have an arrangement with a supplier which
allows you to purchase PPE and work wear at a heavily discounted
rate to sell to your clients
We are flexible on the cost of the franchise depending on the size of your territory and your specific situation. We will discuss with you the best way to approach how you should find your franchise according to your situation. Our priority is to build a strong network of well qualified and experienced consultants and this is our primary aim.
We are an approved franchise with RBS and are currently going throughthe same process with Lloyds Bank who can help you raise finance.
We are aware that the ‘credit crunch’ is making is difficult for some
prospective franchisees to obtain finance. If you apply to a bank for
funding and are unable to obtain it, then we have finance arrangements in
place to provide assistance.
