Mirage was one of the first salons in the North of England to offer threading, Hollywood waxing, sugaring, microdermabrasion and non-surgical facelifts. The list of unique treatments at Mirage continues to grow and has become the envy of many salons in Yorkshire. Being the first salon to establish these treatments has other advantages as Mirage has now built long-term relationships with dedicated suppliers.
As a Mirage franchisee you will have extensive training to effectively treat your clients and give you the competitive advantage over other hair and beauty salons in your region.
You will receive:

The franchise, which costs just £117,000*, includes all training, treatment machines, operations manual, legalities, marketing promotion and opening stock.
Each franchise is provided with an Intense Pulsed Light system, Non Surgical Facelift and Body Shaping system and Micro Dermabrasion system, all exclusive to Mirage salons. The retail price for similar systems would total £52,600 excluding VAT.
In order to meet the investment commitment, Mirage Franchisees could benefit from the financial backing of one of the UK's largest banking institutions who will fund up to 70% of the franchise investment, depending upon current lending criteria and status. This allows franchisees to start up their own Mirage salon from £35,100 plus VAT and working capital (30% of the Initial Investment of £117,000).
In addition to typical bank lending we are very pleased to announce that we have negotiated a leasing arrangement option which reduces the Initial Investment from £117,000 to £48,000. Combined with bank lending this provides franchisees the funding to open a Mirage salon from £14,400 plus VAT and working capital (30% of the reduced Initial Investment of £48,000).
Estimated sales in Years 1, 2 and 3 are £80,000, £125,000 and £150,000 respectively.

A Mirage franchise would suit anyone looking for a management opportunity and whilst a keen interest in the beauty industry is desirable, it is not necessary as full training will be provided.
Mirage will require you to:
- Manage the day-to-day salon operation – whether you have one salon or more
- Maximise the sales of all Mirage’s products to all clients
- Have a detailed knowledge of the products we sell
- Recruit, manage, train and motivate your staff
- Manage the strict control of Mirage’s Business System
- Order products for the salon as required and as new lines and services become available at Head Office
- Display the products to maximum advantage so encouraging clients to always feel that there is something new on display
- Plan and implement any local promotions
- Report your sales to Head Office on a weekly basis
- Contribute towards the growth of the business with ideas and enthusiasm
Above all, you will become part of the Mirage team providing an exemplary service to all our clients.
You may be given opportunities to service clients from outside of your territory subject to our written agreement but you are restricted from canvassing for clients outside of your territory.
