A Popstars Academy franchise is open to everyone. Potential franchisees do not need to be instructors themselves, but would simply employ qualified staff to run their activities whilst they enjoy the creativity of the business as a whole.
Popstars Academy gives you a perfect opportunity to combine your lifestyle with running your own business, operating from a home office. As a franchisee you will be developing 2 core activities within your territory:
Popstars Academy and Popstar Parties.
Popstars Academy
Fun Dance Classes to suit children from Reception to Year 6 (split into two classes by age group) using local community venues during term time only. Popstars provide detailed lesson plans for each class including chosen music, choreographed routines and technical syllabus on DVD, dance props, itemised events and marketing procedure. These are produced on a half term basis to ensure that we are always in line with current trends. There is extra income generated from a joining fee, which includes the club T Shirt. In addition, there are workshop opportunities during the school holidays.
Popstar Parties
Popstar Parties are in great demand all year round so you will be earning an income even when the Academy is on holiday. Popstars provide detailed party plans, training DVDs and ongoing updates and support. There is extra income generated from the sales of Popstar Party Bag merchandise. In addition, there are Corporate & Community Fun Day opportunities.

We offer Franchisees a 5 year Franchise Agreement with full rights for renewal in an exclusive territory. Our territories are carefully researched and Franchisees will have the potential to develop a number of Academies within their territory.

Our Franchise Fee is £14,995. There are a variety of funding packages available to suit your requirements.
Fee includes:
- Licence to trade and operate under the Popstars Academy trade name
- Exclusive Territory
- Training Programme tailored to suit you
- Full Branded Launch Package including:
- Headed Paper, Compliment Slips, Business Cards,
- Branded Envelopes, Party Invitations,
- Promotional Flyers & Postcards, Stickers,
- Feedback & Registration Forms, Popstar Pens.
- Marketing Kit including:
- Launch Advertising, Artwork & Website Entries
- Training & Choreography DVDs, Lesson & Party Plans
- Operations Manual, Training Materials & Ongoing Support
Equipment Package
Franchisees will be required to purchase an equipment package that includes all the kit required to operate both the Academies and Parties. The package costs in the region of £4,000 and is a contractual obligation.
Marketing Launch
Popstars Academy will provide each franchisee with a launch package as part of the franchise fee but we would also expect franchisees to contribute their own working capital in order to get the business off to the best possible start.
On Going Fees
Franchisees will pay 2 on going fees:
- A Management Fee based on 10% of gross sales revenue
- A Sales and Marketing Fee based on 2% of gross sales revenue
Both on going fees are collected on a monthly basis by direct debit.
Extra Detail
Following your first meeting with our team, we will go through financial forecasts and information that will enable you to build a robust Business Plan. We can also provide support in sourcing initial funding to suit your circumstances as we have worked in conjunction with a number of the leading Franchise Banks.
