Building and Handyman is a high end one stop shop for property maintenance and refurbishment. We are able to cover a full range of jobs, from simply changing washers and fitting shelves to full kitchen and bathroom refurbishments.
The company has a clean and tidy work ethic that has helped us gain renown in SW postcode areas, whilst maintaining competitive prices.
Everyone has a story to tell about an unreliable, messy or even substandard tradesman. A belief that this common problem was solvable started the process that has now become the Building & Handyman Group Ltd.

Franchisees will benefit from our years of experience, brand awareness and refined business practices. You will be trained and advised to give you the best opportunity to create a successful business similar to the one we have created.
As a Building and Handyman franchisee you are not expected to be a master
builder or a "jack of all trades", an enthusiasm or knowledge of DIY is a definite
advantage but not essential. We will fully train you to quote and manage jobs
ranging from 1 hour re-active/emergency jobs to full refurbishments. You will
benefit from our intelligent pricing system and on-line marketing presence that
has been established over 7 years, as well as the continual guidance we will
provide to help your business grow at the same rapid rate as our Battersea
branch, which has achieved a year on year growth of 40% for 7 years and a
turnover in excess of £1.3 million!
As our Franchisee you will be expected to be enthusiastic and ambitious. You will learn to estimate works, project manage and maintain great client relationships. Building and Handyman will also train you on how to set up your office in order to run the business, this will include our diary system to book multiple tradesmen in, our accounting package and our quoting package which includes our pricing structure and templates.

Franchisees are fully trained and provided with the manual and knowledge
to start conducting business in there specified area.- You will receive office support with regard to scheduling in quotes and works.
- You will also have a desk in our head office to allow you the comfort of being able to ask questions or simply have another set of eyes look over the work you are doing whilst you get started.
- Additional support is available by agreement between the franchisee and the franchisor.
- When the need arises you will be able to get details of the best way to recruit staff from us.
- Subject to location and feasibility you can arrange for your new recruit to work within a proven team and be assessed whilst on the job, rather than solely by interview process.
The franchises are initially available at the discounted price of £21,000 for our pilot franchisees, thereafter the cost will be £27,000
Who's Ideal for Us:
We are looking for driven individuals who will embrace a challenge
but want a business they can run and influence through their own
dedication. A DIY knowledge is highly beneficial.
The franchisee will be encouraged to grow their team allowing
them to increase their turnover and profits. Franchisees need to be
organised and good at communicating with both clients and site
operatives.
We are initially looking for franchisees in the Greater London Area.
