DegreaseIt is a company that specialises in cleaning commercial kitchens and equipment throughout the UK.
We have been in the kitchen cleaning trade since 2004 so DegreaseIt understands what is needed in order to get the job done.
Our services range from cleaning the ventilation systems to a collection service where we degrease extraction filters. Other services include a filter replacement service and the decarbonising of kitchen equipment.
As a Franchisee you will offer these services and products to restaurants, hotels, take aways, public houses, bakeries or any type of commerial kitchen.
Training and SupportAt DegreaseIt we offer theoretical training from a trainer who has years of experience in a training environment. The practical element of the training is done on the job with a technician who is fully established in the industry.
The theory training will obviously revolve around making you aware of the products and services available to your potential clients. The second section to the training will prepare you for the administrative reports that are required for your clients. This is important because your client would need these reports should he need to make a claim on an insurance policy. The third and final section covers marketing strategies and helping you to build a workable business plan.
The practical training is slightly more prolonged and will be ongoing until as such time that you are comfortable to proceed on your own. You will be placed with an experienced technician who will be your point of contact for any technical queries you may have. Your mentor will attend your first few customer visits acting on an advisory role only.
We have several levels of support, should you need it. We can offer you help with elements of the business ranging from marketing through to answering your telephone calls and emails. The important thing to remember is that you dictate what level of support you want.
Financial InformationIt would be easy for us to exaggerate the monies to be made by joining us at Degreaseit, but we prefer to be realistic. It is true that you should be earning around £5000 per month by month 12 and this will be on very good margins.
Obviously the rewards can be greater if the franchisee develops the business beyond a one man operation. We also provide various levels of marketing support to help develop the franchise.
Each franchise costs up to £6,400 depending upon the geographical area required. Included in this cost is the agreement for 5 years, start up costs of soak tank & chemicals, stationery and marketing literature, training and a set of start-up tools & cleaning equipment.
