Protech Security Services provides counter surveillance and bug sweeping services for private and corporate customers.

Our fully trained and experienced Investigators can offer discreet and confidential bug sweeping and counter surveillance services to individuals or businesses who suspect they are being spied-on, or simply want to ensure their privacy is maintained.

The ever increasing availability of audio and video bugs available on the market from high street shops and the internet make it relatively easy for someone to spy on you and listen in to your conversations and in the case of video bugs, actually see what you are doing in the privacy of your own home or business.

Advances in technology have resulted in the availability of cheap audio and video bugs that can transmit your private information to anyone who wishes to see or hear it, anywhere in the world. These advanced surveillance devices can be disguised or hidden out of sight

A bug sweep carried out by our specially trained Investigators is effectively the only way to locate these devices and remove them. These bugs often come disguised as household objects, or are cleverly built into something you may already own.

YOUR BUSINESS AREA - A geographical area allocated only to your Protech Security Services Franchise - e.g Protech Security Services Birmingham. Use of the Protech Security Services trade name and excellent business reputation.

WEBSITE - Use of the fully maintained & optimised Protech Security Services website. This will be structured to your geographical area. Your website will be identical to this one www.bug-detectors.co.uk but with your own email address and contact details. We believe that first impressions are extremely important and so when your potential customers see your (this) website we feel it willl reflect to them that Protech Security Services is a quality professional company. Your website will also be optimised and submitted to all search engines and directories to maximise the marketing value of the site.

BUSINESS TELEPHONE - We will provide you with a local telephone number, answerphone and call forwarding for your area via Skype. This can be accessed via your PC. Calls can be forwarded to any landline or mobile telephone number to ensure you are contactable and do not miss out on potential business.

ADVERTISING - We will provide your franchise business with your first year's advertising fees for both Yell.com and Yellow Pages Directory for your allocated geographical area.

365 DAYS A YEAR SUPPORT FROM YOUR ALLOCATED EXPERIENCED INVESTIGATOR
On joining our team and becoming a frachisee you will be allocated an experienced Investigator who can offer telephone support 365 days a year. Obviously when you're starting up, you will have 101 questions and will be unsure about certain aspects of the business. Your allocated Investigator will be at the end of a phone to guide and advise you. This type of service is invaluable when you're just starting out and will  help you to maximise your earning potential. You will be supplied with a contact telephone number and details of your allocated Investigator on completion of your franchise agreement. This in conjunction with your training pack will provide a comprehenisive basis for your training.

PROTECH SECURITY SERVICES STATIONERY & LETTER TEMPLATE PACK
We will provide you with a start up stationery pack containing both letterheads and business cards. Our start up pack will contain Protech Security Services letterheaded pages,  Protech Security Services business cards and proven template introduction letters to companies, Businesses, County Councils & Government bodies.

MEMBERSHIP FEES FOR 1 YEAR TO THE FEDERATION OF SMALL BUSINESSES (FSB)
We will fund you first years membership of the Federation Of Small Businesses. There has been a significant expansion to the range of services available to members of the FSB over the last few years and this has resulted in a comprehensive enhancement to the value of your overall membership package. Some of the benefits of membership are is the wealth of information available.

ONE TO ONE TRAINING WITH AN EXPERIENCED INVESTIGATOR- As part of your franchise package we will provide a full training manual detailing different types of surveillance equipment and the different aspects of TSCM. From bug sweeping buildings to cars and objects. As part of the training package, one to one training will be provided over a 2 day period which can be set to suit your availablility and can be done on non-consecutive days if required. You will attend our Birmingham offices where we will spend the day with you sweeping offices, cars and objects where devices have been pre-planted. You will also be able to see first hand some of the types of device you are likely to come across. The Investigator who will undertake your training will also be your allocated support investigator and so this will enable you to put a face to a name and get to know eachother. This Investigator will be to you by telephone throughout your franchise contract and can offer advice and direction where required.

TSCM BUG DETECTION EQUIPMENT TO THE VALUE OF £1700 - As part of your Protech Franchise Package we will supply you with the very latest tried and tested bug detection equipment valued at £1700.  This equipment package has been carefully selected and we consider it to be the best kit available for the type of work you will be undertaking. Below are images of part of your TSCM equipment package. The package will consist of a further 4 pieces of equipment required to be able to offer a comprehensive bug detection service.

Q. What sort of money am I likely to earn by running my own Protech Security Services Agency?

A. Obviously this depends on the level of work you put into the business. If the business is run correctly you should be able to turnover sales in excess of £40,000 per annum. We have offices with a turnover in excess of £60,000. You can set your own prices but to be competative you should try to be as reasonable as possible.

Q. I have no background in this type of work. Is this a problem? Am I still able to run my own agency?

A. This is not a problem, we provide all the training you need to both operate a counter surveillance agency but also a new business. By the time you finish your training, you will be in possession the required knowledge to be able to sucessfully run your agency. You will have ongoing support as long as you are a franchisee.

Q. What is the full cost of my franchise package and what other costs are involved?

A. Our packages are sold at only £6,999 This includes everything detailed in the package list. We also supply you with electronic counter surveillance equipment to the retail value of approx £1700 along with your website and first years advertising for your area. We also charge an annual fee for your franchise licence of £500. This can be paid monthly or annually by direct debit and must be paid each year for the 5 year period of the contract. We believe our package is so generous, your other costs should be pretty low. Other than a computer you will not need any other equipment.

Q. Can I work from home and if so how does that work?

A. Yes working from home will keep your running costs down. We can assist you to set up a virtual office where you can have a prestige business address and where you can have post sent to. If you don't want the added expense of an office you can use our Head Office address for all your postage requirements. We will take receipt of and forward any post to you free of charge.You can also use the meeting rooms at these offices to see clients. As part of your package, we will set up a local business telephone number for your area, an answerphone and call forwarding service.

Q. How long is the franchise contract for and what happens at the end of the contract period?

A. The franchsie contract is for a period of 5 years. At the end of this period you have the option to sell the franchise or to renew your contract with us. The renewal fee for a further 5 year contract is £1000. Should you want to sell the franchise then you can do so at the end of the 5 year contract period. However the new franchisee is then liable for the yearly license payment of £500 in order to continue using the Protech Security Services name and business reputation.

Q. I have seen other agency franchises where the franchisee is charge a royalty fee each year of either over £5000 or between 5-12% of turnover. What royalty fees do you charge?

A. Abolutely nothing. We do not charge any royalty fees. What you earn in turnover is yours to keep. All we ask is that you pay a licence fee each year of only £500 to trade as an Active company. We encourage you to look at the franchises offered by other agencies or in fact, other companies not related to surveillance. We are confident you will struggle to find a package that offers the benefits we do at the price we charge.

Q. What will my website look like?

A. Your website will look identical to this website except it will contain your contact information and the head office. First impressions are very important and we feel our website tells the viewer that Protech is a quality professional company.

Q. Can I buy more than one franchise territory?

A. Yes, significant discounts can be given for purchases of more than one franchise.

Q. What training will I get?  

A. We will provide you with a full training manual which will provide the necessary investigative knowledge, skills and procedures to become a competent counter surveillance Investigator. The training is structured for new Investigators who have no previous experience. In conjunction with the training manual you will be allocated a mentor who is an experienced investigator and counter surveillance specialist. The allocated investigator will arrange with you for 2 days one to one training at our Head Office in Birmingham. The 2 day training can be done on separate and non consecutive days if required and will consist of examining various types of surveillance device you will come across and allow you to bug sweep offices and cars pre-planted with devices. This will also allow you to get to know your allocated investigator who will be your support contact throughout your franchise contract.   

Q. What support is available if I have a problem?

A. On commencement of your franchise, you will be allocated an experienced private investigator as your mentor. The allocated investigator will be available to you should you require help or advice. You will be supplied with a contact telephone number and email address for your mentor.
