On Monday 16 November 2009, Pals4Pets, the longest established pet care company with headquarters in London, launched a new subscription scheme Pals4Pets Alert, to assist in the case of medical emergencies.
There can be few more traumatic situations than being driven off in an ambulance and having to leave your pet(s) not knowing when you will return, and without having time to make arrangements for their welfare.
Pals4Pets Alert is aimed at people who live alone, but it will also appeal to those with partners and families, who are worried about who will take care of their pet(s) if they are rushed into hospital.
Subscribers will be given an 0800 telephone number that they can access 24-hours 7 days a week, a magnet with the 0800 number to place on their fridge or by a phone as well as a card to carry in their wallet. Within three hours of the call, a trustworthy Pals4Pets sitter will visit the home to calm and settle the pet(s). In addition the pet(s) welfare will be responded to during the following day, with an option to purchase additional Pals4Pets services thereafter.
A subscription to Pals4Pets Alert would make a caring present for a close friend or relative who lives too far away to be able to support them at a moment’s notice.
Unlike insurance, Pals4Pets Alert has been designed to be used in the case of an unplanned medical emergency and can support people with cancer, disabilities, the elderly, those awaiting transplants or even women going into labour.
Pals4Pets Alert is the brainchild of Monica Loosley, who with the support of the actress Jenny Seagrove launched the company in 1998. Over the last 12 years Pals4Pets have often been asked to arrive at the same time as the ambulance service to take over care of the pet(s). This subscription scheme means that Pals4Pets can offer real peace of mind to many more London pet owners.
The special introduction offer for London is £99.99 and includes a home visit to learn about the needs of the pet(s). Gift Vouchers are available.
