Inexpensive yet plasuible franchise suggestion?

Posted by Abracabella in Articles on 13.08.2010 5:17:17 pm | 1760 views

I am 21 years old and currently am working on a OU History degree.

I would be interested in gaining extra income from a franchise run from my home PC but only have £100 to spend. I am not looking to make huge earnings at the moment, just a bit of extra 'pocket money'.

Any suggestions?

I'm afraid that you are not going to find a franchise for that price and most "opportunities" for home working around that price are either for slave labour or simply do not work.

I'll look into this a bit more for you though and post anything I can find.

Thanks Matthew.

I would be willing to spend more if the Franchise was guaranteed to be successful. I could put up to 20 hours a week into it; but am naive and need guidance to avoid making silly mistakes.

Thanks

Hi there!

Have you thought of Kleeneze?? - it isn't strictly a franchise, but very low cost to start up (from £80) and although you do have to go out and about a bit, you can easily earn £50-500 a week.  There is a system that works which you can follow, it's been going 85 years, so hardly a scam!! It is an MLM company, so you can earn more by introducing the opportunity to more people, training them and showing them how to run their own businesses.

Have a look at this site, watch the DVD and see the website information, let me know what you think...

This looks am amazing. Problem is I do not drive. I cycle everywhere and would be able to deliver catalogues in the local town of Bedford and surrounding villages. is this feasible???

I have also read negative reviews about Kleeneze. Are there not any home-based franchises for under £200?

Hi Abra

We have a couple of low cost opportunities on the site which may be of interest.

1. http://www.the-franchise-shop.com/list/985/Printanoffercom.html

This is £395 with an ongoing monthly fee of £149 - could be out of your price range and the ongoing fee may not appeal to you but it seems like a good opportunity and I know they are working hard to go nationwide with it.

2. http://www.the-franchise-shop.com/list/867/Wish-You-Were-Here-Ltd.html

again a low cost opportunity but not sure of exact prices, it is something that if you work hard on from home you can make a return, especially if you go all out and learn a bit about driving internet traffic to your website (so learning SEO)

3. http://www.the-franchise-shop.com/list/513/Mystic-Charms.html

They have multiple opportunities in your price range and again something that can bring you a return if you get to understand the industry well and work hard at it.

I would suggest enquiring about each one so that you receive a full informaiton pack which will give you more details than we have in their full page listings.

I will post more if I find any.

All the best,

Kind regards,

Matthew Anderson

Hii,

I would suggest that before contracting with anyone check out about it first. Franchising your business is a great option but be careful. You can take help from franchise consultants or you can take tips.
