Text box advertising is childs play, well maybe not so much childs play so much as it is an old man playing about in a field that he as absolutley no idea about!
I have had quite a bit of spare time on my hands recently and to ease the pain of the boredom I have knocked up three new websites at www.domesticcleaningfranchise.com www.cleaning-franchises.co.uk and www.cleaningmaids.co.uk as an experiment I decided to create a side table for other businesses to advertise their own services on at a ridiculously low price in a text box google adwords style format.
I thought it might be a way of creating a little bit of pocket money, whoops money to cover my 1000s of hours of hard work, blumin heck Robin get it right no about 16 hours work, that's more like it!
Now a few of you will have being unfortunate enough to have received a marketing email from me offering the chance of a very reasonably priced text advert with telephone number, logo and website link for which I whole heartedly do apologise, and thankfully nobody as yet responded phew! Well maybe not so much phew as damn because it as made me wonder what I am doing wrongly.
If anyone could offer some good advice on how to approach a company offering this type of service I would be extremely grateful, at present I am running around like an headless chicken or flapping like a fish out of water! I can sell my domestic cleaning service very efficiently but I am not even at novice standard when it comes to selling online advertising space.
The picture below is the stats for my main website recently and I am hopeful that within a month my new sites will be matching those figures so I believe that the potential is there for other businesses to benefit because my traffic is growing at quite a rapid pace.

I've had people approach me before about putting their ads on my sites. I didn't know where to begin as far as rates and how to determine them. I've always done affiliate links or my own links on my sites.
