Yes, we would like to be millionaires, but...

Normally the franchises featured on the regular mailings from the-franchise-shop.com look to be well founded, even if one needs to be cautious about some of the claims of possible earnings need to be treated with caution.  I have never seen any that I would be worried about seeking further details from.

Until today.

"Millionaires Worldwide" does not even describe what style of business they operate.  There is no google hit other than The Franchise Shop, (many for the phrase, but not for a trading name), no hint of what these "top quality products" are or who are the potential customer base.  The promise that they would ring back within 48 hours, rather than dispatch an information pack, sounds like an inappropriate response to an initial enquiry, and gives me the impression that I am being aggressively sold to, rather than invited to consider due dilignce.

In short, this sounds more like the getrichquick.com type of scheme more often advertised on lampposts and motorway bridges.  The net result of this is that I am left wondering not only about whether this"franchise like opportunity" is trustworthy, but also asking the same question about the vetting of opportunities by The Franchise Shop.

Hi Kevin

Fair comment and this is what the message board is here for.  I admit that at first glance the name does reek of MLM and of a dubious get rich quick scheme but so far I have been lead to believe that this is a good opportunity.  Although a Google search does not bring me up many results either they are also listed on another very reputable franchise directory.

I think the best course of action would be to invite them here to give a more detailed explanation and of course respond to your query, I shall do so in the morning.

Kind regards,

Matthew Anderson

Hello Kevin,

Thank you for your comments.  However we have alway conducted our business this way. I t is a tried, tested and proven simple system.  There is no selling involved. When we get a response we furnish all the relevant information.  We allow the applicant to decide for themselves based on that information.  In the same way that you have a choice whether to respond or not. This is not MLM but a simple turn key marketing system.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards.
