The Wikaniko opportunity is very different to many other home based busineses.
The attitude of the company and the attitude of the people involved makes a MASSIVE difference. There is no pressure and no-one breathing down your neck to increase sales, hit targets or introduce new distributors etc etc.
I personally got involved with Wikaniko because, having a family , I wanted something that would fit in around my existing commitments and my full time job, I was also looking for a business that I felt fitted in with my values and ethics.
I was also becoming more and more aware of the importance of ensuring that the planet that we're currently borrowing will actually be around in a decent state for our children and their children to live comfortably on.
Wikaniko fitted in with my views and my ethos about being aware of what we're doing to the environment, and so I immediately felt comfortable with the products (there are over 1000), as they have all been specifically selected for their natural / eco friendly status. I never feel I'm doing the hard sell to anyone, as you're promoting the eco idea when asking people to try the products.
Price was also an important factor, so many businesses have products that you'd need a second mortgage or a lottery win to be able to afford! Wikaniko have been clever here, the low cost of many of the products, (20 degradable bin bags are only £1.79, and everyone uses bin bags) means there is always something that people can buy to do their bit for the environment. Many of the products are priced to be competitive with the non eco equivalent that you'd find on the high street.
The way we work is as a co-operative team, so if you need help then there are lot's of experienmced people to help you. You're also not obliged to go to meetings / business presentations in hotels, and so you can organise your time effectively. There is free training on-line that comes with your free website and on-line shop. You also have access to fantastic free Webinars and we have conference call training coming shortly.
Distributors also gain stamps on-line, ( a little bit like Green Shield Stamps), books are currently valued at £4 each, and are like shares in the company. As the company grows and gets more profitable the books will rise in value, like a profit share!
There are NO restrictions on what you do as a day job! You can fit Wikaniko around a full time job, work part time or full time just like hundreds of others do.
There are NO restrictions on areas, where you can sell or who you can have in your team. There are currently (last time I looked) just over 1,000 active distributors nationally so you'll be joining a select group of pioneers! There is also along way to go before Wikaniko becomes a household name like Avon and Kleeneze! We're right at the start and the company is only a few years old, so you have a fabulous opportunity to really make your mark!
If you want to make your own team that's great and if you want to just use the products yourself, sell to friends and family and a few people in your street that's fine too. There's NO pressure, as it'll be your business to take where you want to go!
