So I have a new HP laptop, and I should have checked first but stupidly didn't, but the fan is placed on the underside of it. Why o why place it there? HP have been making semi decent computers and laptops for YEARS, surely to flippin god they know a little about laptop design.
It's a LAPtop. I use it at my desk, I use it on my lap on the sofa and I use it in bed. What happens with the latter two? Yes, it overheats, the fan starts whirring, it gets uberflippin hot.... and eventually it closes down due to overheating which of course does no good for any of the components.
WAKE UP HP - Do not put the flipping fan on the bottom
Whilst we are at it though. Why o why is all the lettering on the keys rubbing off, I paid £750 for this laptop, it's not some cheap supermarket ACER. I've only been using it a bloody week and I cannot find the F key anymore, it's completly GONE, vanished, no longer there. The T key looks like the I key and the E key looks like an F.
ARGHHHHH
