Yes, today I quit... Why? Well.
I used it for SEO reasons, to spread my link about. Unknown to me though, having invested a 2 years of my time into it, they have global link policies meaning if you change your signature link, all posts you have made get the links changed also. For SEO reasons this is not good, it means that all the web pages I have been promoting via UK business forums do not have the active links I thought they did.
It's kinda my own fault, I should have checked this. However at the same time I paid for my membership there and paying means you can have a live link in your sig, i would not have paid if I knew that they had a global link policy.
It's a great forum, active and busy and with lots of great people and advice. But i'm not there for those reasons, and as such, as they say, for that reason, blardy blar, I'M OUT!
Time to invest more of my energy on my own content and not content for others me thinks.
