Where can i find Franchisee's

Posted by Nuala at Kiddiewinks in Articles on 19.06.2011 11:34:41 pm | 984 views

Hi there, I'm new to this site, i hope you can help. I set up a company called Kiddiewinks about 4 years ago, we provide children's entertainment for Babies to pre-school age at classes and parties. Kiddiewinks has been nominated for many awards and has gotten to the point where although I have 2 people working for me I can't always meet demand and I'm having to turn business away! Rather than expand by employing people I have decided to go down the franchise route. I've prepared my training manual, operations manual and franchise document and I've had a lawyer prepare a franchise agreement, I think I'm ready to go but have i missed anything?  I've had two girls working for me in various locations which has confirmed my business model is franchisable. Now I just need to find the right franchisees to offer the opportunity to, any ideas? Tips, advice would be really appreciated. Many Thanks, Nuala - nuala@kiddiewinksonline.com

Approach a franchise recruitment agency to work for you.  These come in several shapes and sizes and some work on a comission basis where as others work on an up front fee basis.  With the commision based ones they will still ask you to pay for advertising but they will deal with all aspects of lead/prospect managment and only charge a fee per franchise sold.   2. Google some franchie portals, The Franchise Shop, Franchise Direct, Franchise Sales and Select Your Franchise are all excellent lead generators.  By advertising on these you will gain a steady stream of leads which will hopefully turn into franchise sales as the year progresses.  It's not an easy process and it will keep you busy and learning on your feet but it is a good process and you will learn a lot about lead management.   There are also franchise publications, newspapers, magazines and franchise exhibitions.  All in all you are going to have a very busy time of it which it why I would recommend somewhere like ARC Media who can deal with your advertising requirments and also an external lead mangement company who will ehlp you gai na higher conversion rate.   Any questions please feel free to throw them at me, I would write a longer reply but am off out for dinner.   Best wishes,   David

Get out there and promote your franchise opportunity in its simplest form.

Push it under the noses of your relevant target market by using all the social media sites, forums, blogs you can find out there.  Have no shame, if your franchise is as good as you believe in, then so should everyone else.
