I am 45 years old and live in Ireland with my wife and two children. I had previously lived in London for 16 years and in fact I still run a small business (unrelated to the Kids Party Club) there.  Along with James Sexton, I founded the Kids Party Club in 2006 and we started to franchise the business in mid-07.  Since then we have aquired a third partner, Alan Sheehan, who is now the General Manager. Between the three of us we make one really good whole!

 

It was always our intention to fine tune the business model in Ireland and then take it to the much bigger market in the UK. We see the UK as similar to Ireland in so far as there are many local childrens entertainers but no national branded childrens entertainment company. Strange but true!  We are beginning to occupy that ground in Ireland and we hope to do the same in the UK in the coming five years.  We want to be on that mental shopping list of every mother, father, teacher, village fair organiser, librarian or whoever.  When they think about entertaining or using entertainment to educate kids, we want to be on that list with strong brand values - fun, safety, reliability, value.
