My business is very home based and for the past 6 years I have classed myself as semi-retired. The life style my business as given me is one of relaxation and also plenty of time for enjoying watching my family grow up.

I got my nick name Rocket Robin from my days as a pool and snooker player. I was once an England "B" player and also captained the Lincolnshire County side at pool for three years. I also played for the East of England team. I was a member of the professional pool players association also for a few years playing regular on their weekend circit.

At snooker I got to the Pontins junior Semi-final in 1977 before losing in a closely fought match against Jimmy White, having knocked out Neil Foulds in the Quarter finals. I was also very privaliged to sit and have dinner with the late great Joe Davis once whilst playing in Wales.

Most of my working life up until 2001 I was in the building trade in one capacity or another, I trained as a bricklayer but mostly worked for jobbing builders where we had to be a jack of all trades.

I went back to college in 1998 and did many IT course including website design at Lincoln University. I also did my adult education Teachers Certificate as well as a Diploma in Building Site Management. I now do my own website design for my company Dolly Char (UK) Ltd

Sports I like include football, snooker, pool, billiards, rugby, and athletics to name a few.

My musical tastes are many and varied but to give you an idea of what I like here is a sample, The Beatles, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Wings, Elton John, David Bowie, Queen, Oasis, Rainbow, Madness, Meatloaf, Bon Jovi + many more.

I enjoy travelling especially abroad and in particular to the Mediterranean countries. I would ultimately like to settle either near Venice in Italy or Barcelona in Spain.

I love photography and taking photo

I like to go Swimming and Diving

I enjoy staying in 4 and 5 star hotels but also feel just as happy going in the trailor tent for a week or a fortnight.

I enjoy going on long country walks with my wife and children.

I enjoy eating out and in particular like Indian and Cantonese food along with a nice sweet white wine to go with it. I dislike red wines immensely.

Films I enjoy are mainly science fiction and horror like Dracula, Interview With A Vampire, Independence Day, Underworld, Deep Impact, Highlander 1/2/3, Terminator 1/2/3, Pirates of the Caribbean, Judge Dredd, Ghost + many many more.

I like history particularly ancient history, Egyptian, Greek and Roman and I am hoping this year to go to Pompeii, Hercullium, and Stabie near Naples Italy

I used to enjoy spending a lot of time metal detecting but rarely find time these days.

I enjoy tinkering about with my various websites.

My favourite colour is purple
